▫️ Additional FAQs

"Can I send from an exchange account?"

Short Answer: No, avoid sending from exchange accounts.

Why This Causes Issues

  • Exchange accounts may prevent automatic transaction detection
  • Smart contract addresses can interfere with processing
  • May cause delays or failed transactions
  • Makes recovery more difficult if issues occur

What To Do Instead

  • Always send from your personal wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.)
  • If you already sent from an exchange, contact support with your Order ID
  • Manual processing may be required

"Can I send a different amount than quoted?"

Yes, but with limitations

  • Recommended range: Within ±5% of the quoted amount
  • Small variations: Usually processed automatically
  • Large differences: May cause processing delays or failures
  • Too little: May not meet minimum exchange requirements
  • Too much: Excess amount may not be returned

Best Practice: Send the exact amount shown in your quote for fastest processing.

"Why do prices change between quote and completion?"

Price fluctuations are normal due to:

  • Market volatility: Crypto prices change constantly
  • Processing time: Even 5 minutes can see price movements
  • Exchange rates: Different exchanges have different prices
  • Liquidity: Available liquidity affects final rates

Protection measures:

  • Quotes include estimated slippage
  • Large price movements may pause transactions
  • Private mode provides more stable pricing due to longer processing time

"Is my transaction really anonymous in private mode?"

Yes, when used correctly

  • Neither exchange sees both sides of your transaction
  • Random bridge tokens break the connection
  • One-time addresses prevent linking
  • No account required means no personal data collected

Important notes:

  • Your wallet addresses are still visible on their respective blockchains
  • Use different wallets for additional privacy
  • Consider using privacy-focused wallets
  • Private mode protects the swap itself, not the wallet history

"What if I need to cancel my transaction?"

Before sending funds: Simply don't send to the deposit address - it will expire in 24 hours

After sending funds:

  • Standard mode: Usually cannot be cancelled once processing begins
  • Private mode: May be possible during intake phase
  • Contact support immediately with your Order ID
  • Cancellation success depends on processing stage
